BMW S 1000 RR in Production




Production of BMW's superbike (the one you can buy!) has started in the BMW Motorrad Plant in Berlin.

With a 999cc in-line 4-cylinder engine and a dry weight of 183 kg, plus newly developed sports ABS featuring four different modes as well as the dynamic traction control system DTC will be available.

The serial production machine BMW S 1000 RR will be presented to the public in the early summer 2009 but can be ordered in dealerships now apparently.

Guintoli to be at NEC Bike Show


Sylvain Guintoli

Crescent Suzuki have confirmed that there new British Superbike star Sylvain Guintoli will be introduced at the forthcoming International Motorcycle Show in Birmingham at a press conference on Thursday 27th November at 10.30 am

In addition Sylvain will in the Suzuki stand in Hall One on that day between 2.00pm and 4.00pm to sign autographs and meet fans.

New Ducati Streetfighter for 2009

Ducati launched its exciting range of new motorcycles at the 66th International Bicycle and Motorbike Show in Milan this week, including a new streetfighter, aptly titled the Ducati Streetfighter.

Ducati say about their new creation:- "The Streetfighters Superbike soul combines fighter attitude and naked sophistication to create a machine of pure adrenaline."
