Rossi scooter arrives!




Yamaha UK have announced the release of what will surely be a sought after scooter for 2010, the updated version of the 2010 Aerox ‘Team Replica’. This 50cc scooter is a ‘Special Edition’ celebrating Yamaha MotoGP racing success, in particular Valentino Rossi's World Championship, with striking graphics.

Yamaha MotoGP riders day at the office video

We are constantly on the hunt for great motorcycle videos to add to the motorcycle videos section of the newly launched relaunched www.inter-bike.co.uk site. Yamaha have just launched this excellent video of Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo, Colin Edwards and James Toseland, who all aprently work at Yamaha's offices in between races fulling avarity of roles including receptionist, security guard, cleaner and post delivery.

Its really funny, watch the video to see who does what!

New VMAX and YZF-R1 at 2008 NEC Bike Show



Yamaha has announced it will be showing the new Yamaha VMAX and the new YZF-R1 at this year's Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the Birmingham NEC from 28th November to 7th December.


Yamaha say "The new YZF-R1 features amazing new technology developed by Valentino Rossi’s Moto GP squad, whilst the legendary VMAX makes a welcome return with massive torque and power."

Yamaha launchs the new R1 in Las Vegas with MotoGP Stars








On Monday Yamaha launched the new 2009 Yamaha R1 in Las Vegas and rolled out its MotoGP riders to help with the launch.

Apparently the new R1 is even more closely linked to it MotoGP counterpart the YZR-M1, accordingly Team Fiat Yamaha's Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo and Tech 3 Yamaha riders Colin Edwards and James Toseland were surprise guests at the unveiling.

The Ducati Desmosedici RR makes its first ever public appearance


The pre-series version of the Ducati Desmosedici RR was ridden by Ducati MotoGP Team test rider, Vittoriano Guareschi at Misano as part of World Ducati Week 2007.

2007 MotoGP Day of Champions Pictures

I've just completed work on a 100 picture slideshow of this years amazing Riders for Health MotoGP Day of Champions at Donington Park race circuit on the 21st June 2007.

The slide show contains pictures of most of the current MotoGP riders including Valentino Rossi, Casy Stoner, Nicky Hayden, Alex Barros, Colin Edwards Makoto Tamda, Carlos Checa, Randy De Puniet, Anthony West, John Hopkins, Toni Elias, Dani Pedrosa, Marco Melandri, Sylvain Guintoli, Shinya Nakano, Loris Capirossi, Alex Hofmann, Chris Vermeulen and Kurtis Roberts.

There are many pictures of the days race attractions and of the huge auction of MotoGP items.
Best of all this was a record day for Riders for Health the official MotoGP charity which raised a staggering £217,000.

Well done to all involved.

£217,000 raised in record Day of Champions





I was lucky enough to be at the MotoGP day of Champions at Donington Park yesterday, and what a fantastic day, despite the weather it was. But best of all £217,000 was raised in the Riders for Health auction to help continue the invaluable work, this the official MotoGP charity, does in Africa!!!

Ducatisti in for a treat World Ducati Week 2007









Ducati have announced today that Ducato Corse MotoGP riders Casey Stoner and Loris Capirossi will be at the event on Sunday after the Assen GP. On the Saturday the World Ducati week event will have both Ducati Xerox World Superbike riders Troy Bayliss and Lorenzo Lanzi present.

So if you are a Ducati racing fan it doesn't get any better!

Buy a piece of Ducati History

Riders for Health official MotoGP charity, has reported that Federico Minoli, former CEO and president of Ducati Motor Holdings, is selling his entire collection of souvenirs, memorabilia and gifts that he has collected during his time at Ducati.

So for instance if you fancy the original tailpiece of Casey Stoner's D16 used during the 2007 Qatar GP (Casey's first victory on a Ducati) you can now bid for it , as Federico Minoli is auctioning all the pieces on eBay.
