Suzuki to show Gladius and GSX-R100 at NEC Bike Show



Suzuki have annonced they will be showing the new 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 sportsbike and the Suzuki Gladius 650 at the forthcoming 2008 Carole Mash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show.


The 2009 Suzuki GSX-R1000 is lighter,sharper and more powerful than the previous model whilst the Suzuki Gladius 650 is Suzuki's new European styled middleweight, being a reworked version of the popular SV650.


Suzuki will also show a host of racing bikes form the 2008 season from MotoGP, World Superbike, British Superbike, Isle of Man TT and off-road championships.

2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R at NEC BIke Show



Kawasaki will be showing off their 2009 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R sports bike at the 2009 Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show later this year. With lighter weight, revised chassis, revised engine and MotoGP inspired styling the Ninja ZX-6R the bike has beeen significantly updated.

New VMAX and YZF-R1 at 2008 NEC Bike Show



Yamaha has announced it will be showing the new Yamaha VMAX and the new YZF-R1 at this year's Carole Nash International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the Birmingham NEC from 28th November to 7th December.


Yamaha say "The new YZF-R1 features amazing new technology developed by Valentino Rossi’s Moto GP squad, whilst the legendary VMAX makes a welcome return with massive torque and power."

MV Augusta returns to the International Motorcycle and Scooter Show

MV Augusta importer, Moto GB has confirmed it will be showing MV Augusta motorcycles at this years forthcoming International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the Birmingham NEC, as well has exhibiting it's other brands of Benelli, Cagiva and Keeway scooters.

Great there will be some Italian exotica to drool over!

NEC Bike Show attendance figures!

So the 2007 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show at the Birmingham NEC is over for another year. Attendance was up 3% this year with 149,215 visitors during the ten day show. The show is the the only place in the UK to see all the new bikes from leading names like Benelli, BMW, Buell, CCM, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Hyosung, Kawasaki, KTM, PGO Scooters, Suzuki, Triumph, Vectrix, Victory Motorcycles, Watsonian Squire, Wuyang and Yamaha, all together under one roof.

The 2008 International Motorcycle and Scooter Show will take place in Halls 1, 2, 3, 3a & 4 at the Birmingham NEC from 27th November (Press Day) to the 7th December.
