More miles on the new Ducati Multistrada 1200

Ducati UK have advised that the much awaited Multistrada 1200 will have significantly extended service intervals, with major services only being required evry 24,000 km (15,000 miles).

This doubling of the mileage between valve clearance inspection has been made possible with the introduction of a new valve seat material combined with improved combustion efficiency and temperature management designed into the Multistrada’s new Testastretta 11° engine, but this revised engine also offers improved fuel economy. So it seems like you will truly get more miles on the new Ducati Multistrada 1200!

Pearl White Ducati's

Ducati have announced the release of two further models in Pearl White livery. You can now get the Pearl White Ducati Hypermotard 1100 and the Pear White Ducati Multistrada 1100 S in stunning Pearl White.
We've a couple of pics to whet your appetite.

Both bikes will be shown at the International Motorcycle Show in Cologne (INTERMOT – hall 8) from 7th October.

Ducati wins many awards!

Ducati wins a host of awards in this years Motociclismo 2008 Bike of the Year results.

Ducati claims all 3 places in the Sports Bike of the Year category, with first for the Ducati 1098, with second for the Ducati Desmosdici RR and third for the Ducati 848, a hat-trick!!

Also the Ducati Hypermotard was placed first in the Supermotard category and the newly launched Ducati Monster 696 took second place in the Naked Bike category and the Ducati Multistrada came third in the Dual categorey.

So its a big well done to Ducati!!
